It’s a fantastic addition to festivals, corporate family days, and community events, but it can also bring serious wow-factor to smaller birthday parties and private celebrations. It’s designed to create a dedicated destination for fun, creativity, and memorable guest experiences.

Inflatable Decorations & Event Styling

We offer a growing range of colourful inflatable decorations that can be hired at a discounted rate alongside any HanAhrt booking. Complete your celebration with selected extras, including bouncy castles, giant Connect 4, Jenga, oversized games, piñatas, lolly scrambles, and party prizes.

A little creativity goes a long way!

HanAhrt began with a love of art, imagination, and bringing joy to others. Today, Hannah has grown her passion for imaginative and hands-on fun into a creative entertainment business working across birthday parties, festivals, community celebrations, and events throughout Otago and beyond.

Founded by Hannah Short, artist and Creative Director, HanAhrt combines a background in Visual Arts with years of experience in art, face painting, balloon twisting, creative production, also event safety, management and entertainment.

Hannah’s partner, Ryan, is part of the team, alongside a growing HanAhrt Crew of personally trained artists, performers, and event staff.

A team that can grow with your event!

With multiple face painters, balloon twisters, performers, and event crew, we can provide several services at once, cater to larger crowds, and accommodate multiple bookings or parties on the same day, subject to availability.

From a single birthday entertainer or two, to coordinated entertainment for a busy festival, we’ll work with you to find the right combination.

More than just a party!

We work with families, schools, festivals, community groups, fundraisers, museums, and businesses to create engaging experiences for guests of all ages.

Hannah’s elaborate background of skills and experience also includes children’s party hosting, nannying, customer service, security, crowd control, and event operations. This helps us combine creative flair with thoughtful planning, professionalism, and of course a welcoming and professional approach.

HanAhrt’s team believe fun has no age limit and should have room for everyone. Whether guests want elaborate face painting, a balloon creation, a character photo, a curated specific experience or simply to enjoy the atmosphere, we aim to make every experience welcoming, memorable, and full of personality.

Based in Dunedin, we are happy to travel wherever your event may be throughout New Zealand.

HanAhrt: Creative experiences. Colourful characters. Unforgettable memories.
