Tell me about your business. And where are you located?
Periwinkle is a delightful villa in the middle of the Leeston town where we run children’s birthday parties. These parties are themed and we decorate the villa according to the child’s special day.
How many children is your venue/party suitable for?
- We find that 8 children is ideal along with guests.
Tell us about your parties and themes!
Acashia (Pixie) is dressed in theme, whether mermaid, fairy, unicorn, princess etc etc The kids are face painted by one of us and the other runs the craft and then bubbles & game, party food (BYO or catered from our local cafe) present opening & photos.
What else does your venue have?
- There is also a lit up whimsical fairy grotto in the shop that the children enter through a child sized fairy door beneath a branched tree. This delights them so much, it’s hard to get them out of there!
Do you run any other programs or activities?
- Fairy School is another school holiday day we run for little apprentice fairies to be a fairy for the day, get dressed as little fairies, face painted, par take in various fairy crafts & fun and graduate at the end of the day. A very special school holiday activity.
- School holiday crafts are also taught with varying crafts depending on the time of the year eg decorated Easter rabbits.
Where else might we find you?
